OUR STORY
Baan Tuk Din Hotel is located in the historical part of Bangkok, the Old Town, also known as Koh Rattanakosin. The district where Baan Tuk Din is located is called the "Baan Tuk Din community."​

The community was known for the distribution of gunpowder in the old times. The name "Din" is derived from the Thai word for "gunpowder" ("Din Puen"). Combined with other Thai words, "Baan" means "house" and "Tuk" means "building." "Baan Tuk Din" can actually be translated to "a house of gunpowder." Built during the reign of King Rama V, the hotel has now reached the age of 125 years. Now, lovingly renovated by a team of artists, architects, designers, and business owners who all fell in love with the building, Baan Tuk Din Hotel isn't just one story,
